Our paper 'Measuring neuronal avalanches to inform Brain-Computer Interfaces' accepted in iScience!

Pleased to announce that our paper done in collaboration with P. Sorrentino has been accepted in iScience! Paper available [here](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2589004223028110)

Just up on medRxiv, our latest work on the use of neuronal avalanches as a tool for diagnosis in temporal epilepsy!

Glad to present our last piece of work in collaboration with P. Sorrentino, E. Troisi-Lopez and G.M. Duma in which we notalby used neuronal avalanches to distinguish epileptic patients and controls! Preprint available [here](https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.12.06.23299589v1)

A busy day for HappyFeat!

On December 6th, with Tristan Venot and Arthur Desbois we had the priviledge to present HappyFeat at Paris Santé Campus! On the way to go there we were informed that our paper has been accepted in Software Impacts. Congratulations to Arthur Desbois for his huge work! Cutting Gardens, here we go!

Truely happy to have taken part of the organization of the [CuttingGardens](https://cuttinggardens2023.org), a multi-hub meeting on EEG and MEG methods! I have notably animated a session dedicated to the use of BCI with 3 insightful talks given by R. Kobler, M. Tangermann, and T. Vaughan. All the materials (and many other features!) are available in the dedicated [github page](https://github.com/mccorsi/CuttingGarden2023-RealTimeEEG_BCI)

[BCI meeting 2023] Workshop on challenges in BCI-based neurofeedback applications for neurological disorders

Together with Fabien Lotte, Camille Jeunet, Nathalie George, and Fabrizio De Vico Fallani we had the pleasure to organize a workshop dedicated to challenges faced when dealing clinical applications in BCI/NFB. All the information can be found in our [Github repository](https://github.com/mccorsi/BCI-2023-Clinical-BCI-workshop). We plan to update it with more materials soon!

[BCI meeting 2023] Workshop on offline and online tools for real-world BCI applications!

With Sylvain Chevallier, Arthur Desbois, Pedro Rodrigues, and Pierre Clisson we organized on open-source tools for BCI applications. All the materials (slides, code, FAQ...) can be found in our [Github repository](https://github.com/mccorsi/BCI-2023-Open-Source-Tool-workshop).

Abstracts accepted for an oral presentation and two posters in the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging!

Pleased to announce that I will give a presentation during the next [IEEE ISBI](https://2023.biomedicalimaging.org/en/) conference. I will present my last piece of work in collaboration with F. Yger and S. Chevallier on the application of the FUCONE approach for bimodal M/EEG fusion. This talk will be given during the special session entitled 'Bimodal functional neuroimaging data fusion: methods and applications', organized by C. Cury and J. Coloigner. During this conference I will present two posters on this approach and on the use of neuronal avalanche in the BCI context. More info to come soon!

Participation to the next BCI meeting in Belgium!

This is going to be a great edition with: - one workshop on challenges in BCI-based neurofeedback applications for neurological disorders - co-organized with Fabien Lotte, Camille Jeunet, Nathalie George, Fabrizio De Vico Fallani, and Lin Yao - one workshop on offline and onine tools for real-world BCI applications - co-organized with Sylvain chevallier, Pierre Clisson, Pedro Rodrigues, and Arthur Desbois - one poster on the FUCONE approach - three lunches with mentors - co-organized with the Postdocs and Students Committee of the BCI Society

Abstract accepted for oral presentation in the 2023 NeuroFrance Meeting!

Pleased to announce that I will give a presentation during the next [NeuroFrance meeting](https://www.neurosciences.asso.fr/SN23/) conference. I will present my last piece of work in collaboration with P. Sorrentino on the use of neuronal avalanches to inform BCI performance. More info to come soon!

Organization of the next CORTICO days in Paris!

The next CORTICO days will take place in May 9-10 at Paris Brain Institute! With Sylvain Chevallier we are more than delighted to organize this event. Two exceptional keynotes will be given by Mario Chavez and Donatella Mattia! Interested in participating? 👉 Here is the [program](tinyurl.com/2p9ahs6h ) 👉 Here is the link to [register](tinyurl.com/ycx4hawn) Young researcher will have to opportunity to present their work on BCI to get feedbacks from experts? Please consider submitting an abstract!
